219 Years… and Still Going Strong
The Winhall Industrial Society welcomes you to the 2016 Bondville Fair, celebrating its 219th year as the oldest continually held fair in the state of Vermont. There will be three full days of fun for the whole family, Friday through Sunday, August 26 to 28. This year’s fair boasts many offerings, including live entertainment, food, crafters, pulling track events, floral hall entries on display, bingo, a quilt show, friendly farm animals, a sugar house and an extensive selection of rides and games for all ages. Ox and horse pulls will be presented on Friday at 10 a.m and 4 p.m., respectively. Saturday hosts two truck pulls, one at 12 noon, the other at 6 p.m. Sunday’s Antique Tractor Pull will begin at 11 a.m., following the Kids’ Tractor Pull at 10:30. Back by popular demand is Five Buck Friday, when admission on Friday is only $5, including unlimited rides, events entertainment and parking. Saturday and Sunday admission is $10; or for those 65 and over, $5. Gates open at 10 a.m. each day. The Fair is held at the Bondville Fairgrounds on Route 30 in Bondville. Please leave your pets at home.
