The group, 350.Berkshire will meet on Wednesday, July 16, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. 350.Berkshire, along with ten other regions of Massachusetts, is a volunteer-driven movement that addresses the pressing issue of climate change by organizing campaigns that promote sustainable renewable energy practices and stopping fossil fuel infrastructure from expanding. 350.Ma has developed several campaigns in order to accomplish this goal. Most recently they have assisted several towns in passing resolutions to ban fracked gas pipelines from coming through their town. Whether you are a believer in climate change or not, or a supporter that wants to participate but doesn’t know how, come to the July 16 meeting at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 174 Wendell Ave, Pittsfield, Mass. to learn more. There will be a potluck starting at 5:30.
