The Little School is so grateful for the dedication and support they have received from the Town of Weston and the surrounding community. Our thanks go to Thrifty Attic for donating funds to help towards the purchase of new chairs for one of our classrooms, and the Town of Weston’s School House Fund, which allowed us to replace the outdated furnace and classroom heating units. The Town has also committed to starting a much appreciated bathroom renovation project.

The school’s fundraising allowed us to hire Red Barn Design and  Vermont Foam Insulation to keep the heat in and reduce fuel oil consumption, and purchase and install a new PVC white picket-style fence for our playground, installed by Springfield Fence, that will require almost no upkeep over the coming years.

We are also grateful to Sugarock Landscaping for the donation of a wonderful stonework walkway. We are looking to forward to working with the Weston Vermont Country Store Community Action Team as we continue our playground and garden projects in the New Year.
