Hundreds of people (and quite a few witches) came out to support the Community Food Cupboard at the eighth annual Pumpkin Carving Festival at Equinox Valley Nursery in Manchester, Vt.

The Community Food Cupboard Board of Directors would like to recognize and thank everyone who participated in creating and sponsoring this great event.

Generous hosts, Roger and Penny Preuss and Jenn Casey made sure there were plenty of activities and cider donuts for everyone, and once again did an outstanding job making this event a successful fundraiser for CFC.

A fantastic group of volunteers was on hand to lead the way to the corn maze, and to help inspire everyone to realize their artistic vision on a pumpkin or a witch’s hat.

Younger attendees had tons of fun in the bouncy house provided by Brown Enterprises; kids of all ages enjoyed the perfect fall day with a ride in Donnie Dorr’s wagon. The planning and promotional support of the Manchester and the Mountains Chamber of Commerce really helped bring in the crowds

Thank you again to everyone for supporting CFC and the families we serve. We can’t wait for next October.
