A Taste of Italy: Dinner, Beer and Wine Tasting
Bennington Project Independence, Adult Day Service will be hosting ‘A Taste of Italy: an Evening of Friendship and Fettuccine,’ with a wine and beer tasting, on Friday, September 20, from 6 to 9, at the Dr. Richard A. Sleeman Center, 614 Harwood Hill in Bennington, Vt.
Featured will be a farm-to-table buffet of Italian entrees and delights from local restaurants and chefs, with wines and beers presented by the Bennington Beverage Corporation for tasting. The evening’s entertainment will feature the musical talent of Sarah Solari in the restored, historic 1785 barn at the Center. There will special surprises throughout the evening, such as tarot card readers and a raffle for an iPad Mini and a Red Sox beverage cooler.
Tickets are $35 for adults and $20 for children under 16.
Proceeds from the evening will enable Bennington Project Independence (BPI) to provide comprehensive Adult Day Services for older persons and younger adults facing the challenges of disability, and support for their families and caregivers.
