Aglet Presents ‘Copenhagen’
Aglet Theatre Company will hold a staged reading on Saturday, October 3, of ‘Copenhagen’ by Michael Frayn. In September of 1941 Werner Heisenberg, the German physicist and Nobel laureate for quantum mechanics, visited his mentor, Niels Bohr, the leading Danish nuclear physicist and Nobel laureate, at Bohr’s home in Nazi-occupied Copenhagen. A Tony and Olivier Best Play prize winner, the play is directed by Thomas Gruenewald, who is also a member of the cast, joined by Andrew Joffe and Valerie Von Volz. A discussion will follow. ‘Copenhagen’ will be presented at Dewey Memorial Hall 91 Main Street/Route 7, Sheffield, Mass. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets, $25, can be ordered at 860-435-6928 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
