Annual Maple Fest Dinner
The PINS (Partners in Service) Maple Fest Dinner takes place on Saturday, March 22, beginning at 6 p.m. It coincides with the Vermont Maple Open House. The annual event takes place in Saint Luke’s Willard Hall, 313 Main Street, Chester, Vt. The main entrée is ham with a maple-bourbon sauce, scalloped potatoes, squash, crucifer salad, baked beans and pumpkin muffins. A choice of wines will be available to accompany dinner. Desserts include apple, maple cream, cranberry-nut and pecan pies; and carrot-date, chocolate and cheesecakes. At 7 p.m. there will be a raffle offering over 30 items, with chances to win with $1 ticket or $5 for 6. For reservations, call the Harrisons at 802-875-2784. PINS mission is to promote the well-being and successful development of children and youth served by Vermont’s Agency of Human Services Department of Children and Families. PINS donations from Saint Luke’s include Easter dinners for three families, items for kids attending summer camp, and over 50 back-to-school backpacks filled with school supplies. Come, eat and win to help us support this partnership. The cost is $10 for adults; $5 for children under 12.
