Arlington Village Farmers’ Market Seeking Vendors, Artists
The Arlington Area Renewal Project is again sponsoring the Arlington Village Farmers’ Market, Fridays from 4 to 7 p.m. starting on June 21 and going until September 6. The Market will be held on the grounds of The Arlington Inn on Route 7A in Arlington, and will feature bands each week. Project lead, Colonel Jim Baker, says, ““We’re amazed at how successful our 2018 Summer and Winter Markets were for both vendors and patrons. This year, we’re extending our Summer Market to 12 weeks and plan on bringing in some additional vendors. Thanks to the generosity of The Arlington Inn, we have the perfect space to attract both community members and visitors. Our goal last year was to continue it annually to help position Arlington as the place to come for a fun experience while buying the best locally-produced farm products around.”
While all vendors are welcome, the Farmers’ Market Committee is especially interested in providers of fresh produce, breads and pastries, and any other type of farm product, such as cheese, honey, jams and jellies, maple syrup, meats, prepared foods, coffees and teas. The Market will also feature a weekly Artist’s Corner with a different local artist each week and is looking for local artists to display their work.
