Armchair Travel Goes to the Grand Canyon at Equinox Village
Enjoy an armchair excursion through some of America’s most beautiful landscapes – the southwest – at 4 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, at Equinox Village. You’ll hear some wonderful stories and gain insights about how to embark on a hiking adventure through the canyons when former National Park Ranger Helen Hossley leads us through Grand Canyon National Park and the Havasupai Indian Reservation to explore the turquoise waterfalls of the region.
Hossley, a National Park Ranger for four years, currently resides in Burlington. Over the years she has worked with social oranizations, helping to reduce energy use on dairy farms and fund energy-efficient upgrades and the construction of playgrounds in Burlington Public Schools. She is currently Education Director for the Vermont Realtors, whose overall mission is to increase home ownership. This free public talk is sponsored by Equinox Village and presented by Manchester Community Library. Equinox Village is located at 49 Maple Street in Manchester Center.
