Art On Edie’s Green Returns
The Pawlet Scholarship Committee’s 18th annual Art on Edie’s Green will again take place on the edge of the Flower Brook in beautiful Pawlet on Saturday, September 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Approximately 30 local artists will each generously donate 20 percent of their day’s earnings to the Pawlet Scholarship fund, a non-profit that provides scholarships to Pawlet and West Pawlet residents eager to make their higher education dreams come true.
You will find a variety of mediums and styles at Art on Edie’s Green with the chance to meet the artists and see some demonstrations. This year’s event will be catered by Pawlet’s very own Mark and Margaret McChesney from the Barn Restaurant, who will be serving lunch out of their food truck right on Edie’s field. Stay the day! Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the sights and sounds of beautiful Pawlet, listen to some live music, support your community, start your holiday shopping and know that you are also helping support the future of Pawlet by investing in the education of its residents.
Follow the signs to Art on Edie’s Green. There will be ample parking available in the field. In the village of Pawlet on Route 30, turn onto Cemetery Hill Road, between the Post Office and the bridge – you can’t miss it.
