‘Art on Edie’s Green’ This Weekend
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, August 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will host over 30 artists from around this arts-rich community, each generously donating 20 percent of their day’s earnings to the Pawlet Scholarship Fund, a nonprofit which provides scholarships to Pawlet and West Pawlet residents eager to make their higher education dreams come true. You will find a variety of mediums and styles at ‘Art on Edie’s Green.’ Come and meet the artists, enjoy some demonstrations, grab some lunch, listen to some live music by local singer/songwriter Paul Brotchie to support your local community and the future of Pawlet by investing in the education of its residents. This year’s event will be catered by West Pawlet’s very own Hadley and Mike Stock from Pink Boot Farm, who will be serving morning delicacies followed by delicious lunches right on Edie’s field. Bring a picnic blanket, enjoy the, sights and sounds of beautiful Pawlet and stay for the day. Follow the signs to Art on Edie’s Green; there is ample parking at the field. From Route 30, turn onto Cemetery Hill Road, between the Post Office and the bridge; look to the right and you can’t miss it!
