ART-Seed is a free weekly lecture/performance series held every Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. at the Marble House Project, located at 1161 Dorset West Road in Dorset. This Tuesday, August 18, there will be a performance/reading by Lynne Procope, literary and performance curator at Original Music Workshop; curator of the Gaslight Salon Series; co-founder and managing editor of Union Station Magazine; and director of the louderARTS Project in New York. Marble House Project offers an innovative atmosphere and exchange of ideas in its artist residencies and promotes sustainable agriculture. We focus on the conservation of natural resources, small-scale organic food production and the arts. Residents cultivate the grounds while working on their artistic visions, fostering the belief that the act of creating through art and nature is where human potential begins and community thrives.
