Art-Seed Talk at the Marble House
Art-Seed presents Nicole Kempskie and Lisa Fliegel at its next event at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10. Kempskie is a multidisciplinary writer, theater artist, librettist and lyricist who has explored her passion for writing about complex and interesting women in her musicals, ‘The Order of Things,’ ‘Mother of the Year,’ ‘It’s About Time’ and ‘Helen,’ all with composer Robby Stamper. Lisa Fliegel is a writer and international trauma specialist who served as a journalist covering the Middle East Peace Process. Her award-winning non-fiction has appeared in The Times of London, The Jerusalem Post Magazine, Response, Midstream, ARC and The Tel-Aviv Review, among others. Her writing is richly informed by a bi-lingual, multi-cultural perspective.
Marble House Project, 1161 Dorset West Road, Dorset, nurtures the imaginative spirit through artist residencies, workshops and sustainable agriculture. Residents sustain their growth by cultivating and participating in the surrounding grounds, working on their artistic vision and forging partnerships within the community.
