The Dorset Equine Rescue is a registered non-profit organization whose mission is to rescue neglected and slaughter-bound horses that end up at auctions or in less-than-desirable situations. In the care of the rescue, they are physically and mentally rehabilitated, evaluated – and when deemed ready – become available for adoption.
The Dorset Equine Rescue runs strictly on donations and volunteers. For tickets to the Barnyard Ball go to barnyardball.bpt.me or visit facebook.com/TheDorsetEquineRescue.
