BBA Announces Inductees to its Hall of Fame

The Burr and Burton Academy (BBA) Hall of Fame, created in 2001, recognizes extraordinary alumni and members of the community whose achievements, accomplishments and service have inspire the shcool and its students. A ceremony was held on September 21, in the Riley Center for the Arts, and was followed by a reunion dinner at Taconic. The newest members to be inducted are: Athletics, Kristen Palmer ’09 and Trevor Pollock ’09; Coach, Dan DeForest; Legend, William West ’65; Special Olympian Travis Baker ’11; Friends of Athletics, John and Lynne Sanders; Team Award, 1998, 1999 and 2000 Girls’ Varsity Soccer; Alumni Service Award, Lyman Orton ’59; Alumni Achievement Award, James Campbell ’62; E.H. Henry Distinguished Faculty and Staff Award, Dawne Polis; Alumni Arts Award, Sheryl Hadeka ’04.
