Bennington Museum will host its Family Day and Children’s Shopping Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 10. Admission on this day is just $3. Any child who brings a donation of new school supplies for children in need will be admitted for free. Activities throughout the day include crafts, a bake sale and more for a small additional fee, up to $5. Visit with Santa from 1 to 3 p.m. In the Children’s Shopping Boutique from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., helpers will be on hand to assist children ages four to 12 in selecting presents for their friends and family members. Gifts range in price from $1 to $10; free gift-wrapping and gift tags are included. Adults can go shopping, too!

The Museum Store is expanding so it can offer a larger selection of artisan products just in time for the holidays. The Artisan Pop-Up Shop will be open November 25 through December 30. Be sure to check out this year’s Classroom Creations. Area students were asked to create an object inspired by Grandma Moses. Purchase a chance to win one of them for $1. The museum is located at 75 Main Street/Route 9, Bennington. Visit benningtonmuseum.org or call 802-447-1571 for details.
