Bennington Summer ‘Soulstice’

Green Mountain Oasis announces that the fourth annual Summer ‘SOULstice’ Celebration has been re-scheduled for Sunday, July 12, from 3 to 7 p.m. Although it may not be the actual Solstice this event will be loaded with plenty of soul and community spirit! Located on the grounds of the Bennington Battle Monument, this health and wellness event will bring friends and families together for an evening of music and fun activities while supporting neighbors in most need; proceeds will be donated to the Bennington County Coalition for the Homeless. Admission is free with most activities free or by donation. The Julie Shea Band will perform, and vendors will offer their wares. Receive a relaxing chair massage, make peace flags, garden stakes or decorate the community mural. There will also be giant bubble making, face painting, and a photo booth. Join Fidel Moreno of Healing Winds to participate in a Native American Peace Ceremony; bring your mat to participate in the Yoga Challenge, and jam or dance with the Bennington Area Drummers. Call Gail Boulger at 802-447-2900 or email greenmountainoasis@yahoo.com to learn more.
