Bird Walk at Canoe Meadows

Spring and fall are the seasons to look for migrants of all kinds, especially the beautiful wood-warblers.  On Friday, September 27, 8 to 10 a.m., Berkshire Sanctuaries is sponsoring a Bird Walk at Canoe Meadows Wildlife Sanctuary, on Holmes Road in Pittsfield, Mass. Noreen Mole, volunteer and Hoffmann Bird Club Past President, will lead this walk for adults. Preregistration is not required. The walk is free for members, $3 for non-members. Bring binoculars; beginners welcome. Questions may be directed to Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary in Lenox, Mass., at 413-637-0320, or visit massaudubon.org.
