Bischof Places 4th in SUP Race
Jonathan Bischof paddle board coach, athlete and Stand-Up Paddleboard race competitor earned fourth place in the mens’ over 50 class in the 6.5 Money Island venue. Bischof races in the technical class on a 12-foot, 6-inch race board, and enjoys the work that is required in using this size. Bischof states that he was pleased with the results of the first race of the season, and is looking forward to improving and switching to a narrower race board. The event was held at the prestigious Carolina Sup Cup in North Carolina on April 23; this is the biggest SUP race in the US, with over 1000 competitors, including the biggest names from around the world: Titouan Puyo, Danny Ching, Travis Grant, Anabel Anderson, Fiona Wlyde and Candice Apleby just to name a few. Bischof lives and works in Jamaica, and has been a resident of Vermont for over 46 years. For information, call 802-258-0282 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
