Bob’s 68th Birthday Blues Bash to Benefit MCL

One of the most innovative blues duos in the world, Paul Rishell and Annie Raines share a great musical rapport in a wide range of styles – from Delta heartache to Chicago drive. They’ll be bringing their soulful vocals, steel guitar and sizzling blues harp to the Manchester Community Library (MCL) on Saturday, June 15, for Bob’s 68th Birthday Blues Benefit Bash, a concert to benefit MCL, a vibrant community hub that provides opportunities and resources for personal enrichment to people of all ages. The 7 p.m. show will open with birthday boy and local harmonica virtuoso Bob Stannard and his favorite Bluesman, guitarist Johnny Falk. Come early – doors open at 6 p.m. – to enjoy free bites and a wine and brews cash bar. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Call 802-362-2607 or stop by to purchase tickets in advance. MCL is located at 138 Cemetery Avenue in Manchester Center.
