BRGNS Names New Food Shelf Administrator

Black River Good Neighbor Services in Ludlow announces Krey Kellington is their new program administrator in charge of the food shelf and related programs. She will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the food shelf and will support financial and assistance programs, interfacing with BRGNS’ partners and clients. Kellington will also explore and establish new assistance programs and report as necessary on behalf of the organization. She will work closely with the Board and with the executive director, Audrey Bridge.

Bob Kottkamp, vice president, said, “The staff and volunteers at the food shelf are excited to welcome Krey to her new position and look forward to working with her. This is a new direction for BRGNS, but with the increase in aid that we’ve been called on to supply in the last few years we felt that it is time to expand the staff. We hope over time to develop more aspects of our mission that address the needs (of) our clients. Krey brings to us a good mix of skills both to continue the parts of our mission already addressed and to expand ways of fulfilling our mission more broadly.”
