Burning Spear in Concert
Burning Spear’s Pan-African lyrics and intoxicating rhythms transform any room into a party. Music lovers can immerse themselves in the Rastafarian spirit of Burning Spear on Saturday, February 15 at 8 p.m., at Mass MoCa’s Hunter Center. Burning Spear is one of the most respected luminaries of the reggae world. His career began in 1969 when he met Bob Marley. Spear has consistently promoted messages of peace and love to all through lyrics and irresistible rhythms. Part Rastafarian preacher, part black historian, and all reggae, Burning Spear’s legions of fans can be found around the world.
