Chamber Music in Salem
The Historic Salem Courtroom’s annual Spring Chamber Music Series continues on Sunday, May 26, at 3 p.m. This year marks the tenth anniversary of this masterful series led by director Daniel Shulman.Violinist and violist Kaori Washiyama will join with other artists to perform repertory by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Shubert, Debussy and Stravinsky, thanks to a grant from the Adirondack Regional Arts Council. Come hear the wonderful acoustics in the19th-century Courtroom, one of Washington County’s finest architectural wonders from renowned architect Marcus Cummings. Light refreshmentswill be provided during intermission. Tickets are $20 each or buy a series of three for $54. The next concert is Sunday, June 23.
