Cheer a Child’s Hospital Stay

ConKerr Cancer makes brightly colored, fun pillowcases for the kids who are hospitalized at the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD). Each time a child is admitted to CHaD, they are given a pillowcase to brighten their room during their stay. On average, CHaD admits 15 kids per day between the PICU (pediatric ICU) and the regular floor. Some stay for just a day or two while having treatment or follow up, but some stay for much longer, so the need is great. ConKerr Cancer is currently looking for donations of fun, brightly colored or sports team fabric in cotton or flannel to make more pillowcases, or Walmart or Joann Fabrics gift cards. Other needs we have are thread of all colors, quart and gallon ziploc bags and unscented laundry detergent.
