Comedy Improv in Rutland
Last year’s challenging and unpredictable adventure of comedy improv by the Marble Valley Players’ ‘Lost Marbles’ was so successful, we’re doing it again this year! Gary Thompson will host this dinner/theater show, which is loosely based on the popular TV show ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ The show will consist of a panel of nine veteran performers who create characters, scenes and songs on the spot. Topics will be based on audience suggestions and prompts from the host. The Performers this year are Beth Wolven, Sandy Gartner, Judi Tompkins, Taylor Ampatiellos, Carol Ann Martin, Jon Gilbert, Gena Wener, Justin Enzor and Michael Kingsbury. Bring your ideas and your appetites, since your ticket includes a full buffet dinner, on Friday, January 31 and Saturday, February 1, starting at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6 and the show at 7:30, at the Palms Restaurant, 36 Strongs Avenue in Rutland, Vt. Tickets are on sale now for $35. Pre-payment and reservations are required before January 25, as seating is limited. Call Bobbie Torstenson for reservations and additional information at 802-247-6778.
