Community Food Cupboard Thanksgiving Wish List
The holidays are almost here and at the Community Food Cupboard we are gearing up for Thanksgiving! November is always our busiest month and this year we expect to serve about 300 families. We are seeking donations of non-perishable items such as cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, chicken broth, flour, sugar and canned green beans. A $25 donation will allow us provide a turkey, fresh vegetables and all of the essentials for a Thanksgiving dinner. We hope you will help us ensure that all of our neighbors can have an abundant holiday. Together we can make a real difference in the lives of families who are struggling. Donations of non-perishable items can be dropped off outside our door in the Manchester Town Hall, or in the donation bin at Shaw’s Supermarket or the Manchester Community Library. Turkeys or perishable items can be brought to CFC on Wednesdays or Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Donations of funds may be mailed to CFC, PO Box 864, Manchester Center, Vt. 05255. If you would like more information about the Food Cupboard and how to get involved or how to get help, visit our website, communityfoodcupboard.org, call us at 802-362-0057, or stop in and visit us at Town Hall on Wednesdays or Thursdays.
