Craft Beer Tasting & Food Drive in Rawsonville
November 19 will mark the sixth anniversary for Meulemans’ Craft Draughts. When first opened in 2010, there were only a handful of breweries in Vermont. Now there are over 50 throughout the state and they have become one of the drivers of the state’s economic engine. Today Meulemans’ bottle shop offers a wide selection of these beers crafted right here in Vermont. To celebrate the occasion they will be hosting a tasting of craft beers on Saturday and Sunday, November 18 and 19, from 3 to 6 p.m. The events are free for those 21 and over. In addition, Meulemans’ are collaborating with the Jamaica-Wardsboro Community Food Pantry; they will be giving away some fun beer paraphernalia to those who bring in food donations for the Thanksgiving holiday. People can drop off items from 12 to 7 p.m. both days. Meulemans’ Craft Draughts is located at 8814 Route 30 in Rawsonville.
