Northshire the Focus of Student Photography Show:

Burr and Burton Academy’s student photography show, ‘Northshire and the Mountains: Our Home,’ will be opening Thursday, December 6, with an opening reception offering hors d’oeuvres and music from 4 to 7 p.m. The show, which will be on view through Sunday, December 9, is held in collaboration with Michael and Carolina Ellenbogen at stART Space, their gallery located at 263 Depot Street in the Price Chopper Plaza. The show is BBA’s largest, featuring the work of more than 40 photography students currently enrolled in Alex Vincent’s photography class. It is a unique collection of images which show the individual connection each student has with his or her town, community or environment.

All images will be available for purchase; proceeds will be divided among the student, gallery and BBA photography department. In addition, the Ellenbogens will contribute ten percent of the sale of any artwork through 2019 to the BBA Photography Department, when a certificate, provided to all guests attending the opening of the BBA Photography Student Show, is presented at the time of purchase.
