Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 11, and children ages four to eight, accompanied by an adult, are invited to come decorate a cake for Mom at Mother Myrick’s Confectionery, located at 4367 Main Street in Manchester, Vt. on Friday, May 9, 4 to 5 p.m. and Saturday, May 10, at 9:30 a.m. Mother Myrick’s Confectionery will provide the cake and decorations, and is requesting a donation of $10 or whatever you can afford to benefit the Komen Vermont/New Hampshire Race for the Cure. Our local affiliate of the Susan G.
