Dorset School Campers Enjoy Trip
Sixth grade students at The Dorset School recently spent two days and one night at Camp Chingachgook located on nearby Lake George. They challenged themselves individually, strengthened team-building skills and had a lot of fun engaged in field and woods, running, swinging and climbing a variety of high and low ropes elements. They also canoed, hiked, shot targets with a bow and arrows, played games and roasted marshmallows by campfire while watching the sun set. Other highlights were telling scary stories sitting on the forest bridge, singing crazy camp songs (and one David Bowie tribute) and getting to know the amazing Camp Chingachgook staff. It was a fantastic trip made all the better by two perfectly sunny and warm days.
