Fall Cooking Demonstration
Join Annette Nielsen, chef and editor of the Northern Bounty Cookbook, on November 16, for a free ‘Celebrating Autumn Flavors’ cooking demonstration at Gardenworks. Learn how to prepare delicious, time-tested recipes using local ingredients harvested in the fall, including dishes perfect for Thanksgiving. Sample Vidalia Onion and Apple Casserole, Chef Eric’s Cider Vinaigrette, Maple Glazed Acorn Squash Slices, Pumpkin Dip and Pumpkin Mousse.
Recipes will be available to take home. The demonstration begins at 11 a.m. Nielsen, a former resident of Washington County, is a freelance writer living in Washington, D.C.
