‘Fear This’  opened this past weekend to rave reviews, at the Salem Courthouse Community Center. “Best one yet” was heard from guests as they completed the extensive tour of the haunted Courthouse. All three floors of the building and a maze on the side lawn provide guests with ample opportunities for a hair-raising experience.

The event will continue for the next two weekends: Friday and Saturday, October 18 and 19; and Friday and Saturday, October 25 and 26. The tours commence at 7, and the doors close at 9:30. ‘Fear This’ is the creation of Rik Sassa, whose creative genius makes the event a reality. He totally immerses himself in the various roles he plays, providing great entertainment. Over 40 ghoulish volunteers add to the fun. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 13 and $25 for families (mom, dad or caregiver with children). Volunteer firemen, EMS workers and active service men with IDs are all $5 as well. Profits from the event support the many great programs offered at the CCC.
