Flood Brook School urgently needs your help in building its new playground, Thursday through Sunday, May 15 to 18. The School saved tens of thousands of dollars when they ordered the playground structures by agreeing to provide the labor when it was time to put it together: now they are struggling to find the labor. Thus far, only a small number of parents and community members have signed up to help. No skills are needed. About 100 people are needed each day. Childcare and food will be provided. If you can give them a half to a full day of work, email [email protected] or call the school at 802-824-6811. A reminder email will be sent to each group with more information about the day.

If you have a wheelbarrow, rake or shovel that you can bring along, that’s even more helpful. Volunteers can help to assemble benches and parts, help with food distribution, play with kids, help mix cement, help rake and shovel dirt or mulch.
