Fly Fishing Presentation to Be Held on the Mettowee in Granville

Greg Cuda, president of the Clearwater Chapter of Trout Unlimited headquartered in Albany, N.Y., will be at the Slate Valley Museum on Friday, May 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. to share what he knows about fly fishing the Mettowee River and the Battenkill. This informal presentation will share insights about flies, hatches, equipment and local lore – and if weather permits, Cuda will demonstrate casting technique. Trout Unlimited is the national steward of our rivers and streams, and is devoted to conservation and maintaining pristine waterways. The Slate Valley Museum is situated on the banks of the Mettowee River at 17 Water Street, Granville, N.Y. For more information, call 518-642-1417 or visit slatevalleymuseum.org.
