Free Arlington Community Dinner
Saint James’ Episcopal Church in Arlington welcomes one and all to its third free community dinner of 2019 – a comforting meal featuring a variety of home-made meatloaves, baked potatoes, salads and breads, along with beverages and a selection of old-fashioned bundt cakes. The dinner will be served on Friday, March 29, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Church Undercroft. Hosted by parishioner Gayle Potter with the help of volunteer cooks and bakers, this will be a great way to spend an evening relaxing with friends and neighbors while enjoying a hearty, nourishing meal. All are welcome; the church and its Undercroft are handicapped-accessible. There is no charge for dinner, but free-will donations are most gratefully accepted and are earmarked for Bennington Project Independence, which provides supervised day-time programs and activities for seniors in our area. For more information, call 802-802-375-9952. The fourth and final dinner will take place on Friday, April 26; watch for reminders and details.
