At the Salem Courthouse Community Center, there is something for everyone. ‘Simple Pleasures are the Best,’ a cooking class offered on Sunday, January 26, at 10 a.m., is for adults and children who wish to learn cooking basic skills; A folk and bluegrass music workshop will be offered on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., starting on January 23. There’s also a beginner yoga series on Mondays at 6:15 p.m., and  three art workshops for children. ‘Lets Get Messy’ is for students ages 3 to 5; ‘After School Artists’ for ages 6 to 11; and ‘Drawing’ for ages 13 to 17. All are taught by professional artists wishing to help youngsters develop and show off their skills. Kung Fu and Tai Chi sessions will continue, as well as a selection of creative opportunities in the Pottery Studio. Details may be found by visiting salemcourthouse.org.
