GNAT Summer Camps
Greater Northshire Access Television, the region’s community media and training center, is offering five tech-inspired summer camps. There will be two sessions of Stop Motion Animation Camp; session one on July 5 is open to ages 10 to 12; session two on July 18 is for ages 7 to 9. Campers will learn the process of Stop Motion Animation on iPad and go home with one or more finished animations. Scary Movie Editing Camp is a three-day camp where campers will learn the fundamentals of editing, storytelling, special effects and other techniques, July 6 to 8. It is open to ages 12 to 14. Kid’s Kitchen Studio Production Camp is three-day camp, July 20 to 23, where campers will learn the skills needed to create, produce, star in and film a real live cooking show! Kid on the Street News Camp is a two-day camp where the participants will learn the basics of scripting, HD video camera and audio equipment operation, reporting, filming and interviewing.
