GNAT’s ‘Hats Off to Summer’ Croquet Lawn Party

The Perfect Wife Restaurant and the Wilburton Inn have joined forces to host ‘Hats Off To Summer,’ a croquet lawn party to benefit Greater Northshire Access Television, the regions’ community media and training center.  Scheduled for 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, at the Wilburton in Manchester Village, Vt. the evening will offer unique fun and games and the chance to dress up in summer whites if you wish.

Guests will enjoy a summer cocktail and hors d’oeuvres provided by the Perfect Wife Restaurant and a chance to win prizes for most enthusiastic gamer and most stylish hat.  Bring Dad for a father’s day match of croquet, bocce ball or lawn darts.  The evening concludes with a hat parade and contest judged by Berta Maginniss, executive director of the Manchester and the Mountains Regional Chamber of Commerce, and Stephen Drunsic, local businessman and host of Q&A Live on GNAT.

This special fundraising event helps support GNAT’s youth training programs that include summer camps, after-school programs, classroom training and production of the monthly television show, ‘School News Update.’

GNAT-TV broadcasts on Comcast Channels 15, 16 and 17 in the Northshire, Channels 8, 10 and 18 in Stratton and Channel 8 in Weston and Londonderry.  In addition educational programs, GNAT-TV provides a state-of-the-art production facility available to the public for producing community programming.  Tickets are $40 and can be purchased at gnat-tv.org or by calling 802-362-7070.
