Grafton Historical Society Host Event, Shows New Items
The Grafton Historical Society will meet at 7 in the Grafton, N.Y., Town Hall on October 16, for a program titled ‘Connecting with Our Collections.’ GHS Members and the public are invited to this special evening event. On display will be recent additions to the GHS collection, including the time capsule from the Grafton elementary school, a vintage telephone from Taconic Valley Telephone, paintings of Lulu Middleton donated by Elsie Risedorf, the paintings and genealogy of Alice Corbin Hidley, 19th century photographs of many Grafton residents and a special exhibit, ‘Milestones in the History of the Grafton Community Library.’
