Granville Spaghetti Dinner
A spaghetti dinner to benefit the Slate Valley Museum will be held on Monday, January 20, (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day) from 5 to 8 p.m., at Bernardo’s Restaurant in Granville, N.Y. Diners will enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner with salad and bread for only $5. For those on the go, a $6 take-out meal will be available. No reservations are necessary; all walk-ins will be welcome. This annual dinner is organized by the SVM board of trustees, and the meal will be served with the help of Future Farmers of America volunteers. All proceeds will contribute towards SVM’s ongoing exhibits and 2014 events, including a brand-new, innovative exhibition and program series that will explore slate in all is forms, from quarries to rooftops to home decor and fine art. Through the support of its patrons, the Slate Valley Museum continues to offer award-winning educational programs, concerts, exhibitions and an extensive collection of historical artifacts that celebrate the history and culture of the Slate Valley region of New York and Vermont.
