Group Aims to Save the World One Woman at a Time
Nudge yourself out of your Sunday routine to spend a quarter of your day refreshing and rebooting at the sixth annual Vermont Yoga Women’s annual Women’s Day of Renewal Retreat to benefit Women For Women International (WFWI). The group is made up of local women friends from Burlington to Brooklyn, who believe in serving both locally and globally, bringing peace and abundance to our neighborhoods and to the world. Taking care of yourself empowers you to stay healthy regardless of the events in your life, to do real good for your loved ones and life on earth, one woman at a time.
The event on Sunday, October 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the r.k.Miles’ Studio at 618 Depot Street, Manchester, will include Yoga Flow, a guided meditation, a vegetarian potluck luncheon, swap table, door prizes and much more. The suggested donation is $60, or what you can afford; scholarships are available. Call or text Pauline Gardner 802-345-7132, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. WFWI gives women who have survived war and conflict skills support, tools and education to move from poverty and crisis to stability and economic self-sufficiency.
