Volunteers have begun raising the walls on Bennington Area Habitat for Humanity’s eighth house in the Jennifer Lane neighborhood located in Manchester. The house is being built in partnership with the Stone family, who will be able to move into a brand new, highly energy-efficient, well-built and affordable home when the structure is completed. Community members are invited to come help build with other Habitat volunteers on Wednesdays and  Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All are welcome and no skills are necessary to help with construction. Call Bennington Area Habitat at 802-367-1000 for details on volunteering.
