HACA Appreciation Brunch
The Hoosick Area Church Association is pleased to announce that Edward Gorman, Esquire will be the key-note speaker at the HACA Volunteer and Sponsor Appreciation Brunch to be held on Saturday, October 25, from 10 a.m to 12 noon at the First United Presbyterian Church. A native of Hoosick Falls, N.Y., Gorman has practiced law for 14 years in the areas of civil and criminal litigation and elder law. He was previously a partner in the firm of Halliday and Gorman, with offices in Albany and Cooperstown.
Gorman was Deputy Mayor of the Village of Hoosick Falls from 2001 to 2003, and was Justice for the Village of Hoosick Falls from 2003 to 2007. He currently serves as President of the Board of Centers for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Hoosick Falls; President of the Board of CIVICURE; and Trustee for the Immaculate Conception Parish. He says, however, that his most important role is overworked bus driver for his three children.
