Haynes Hoedown for Hope
Enjoy an authentic barn dance on Saturday, September 28, when the Haynes House of Hope presents its second annual Harvest Hoedown for Hope in the elegant barn at Hogan Hill in Hampton. The event, which features music from two live bands, a pig roast, hay rides and more, will take place from 4 to 10.
Starting at 4, guests can dance to vintage square dancing tunes by Ole Time Country. They will be performing inside the soaring three-story barn, with plenty of room for dancing. Later in the evening, the barn will be rocking to the classic country-rock sounds of Sweetwater. Dinner will be a pig roast served by the Burch Family Farm. Light beverages and wine and beer will be available.
During daylight hours, hayrides around the property will be provided for guests by the Shaw Clydesdales. A 50/50 raffle will also be conducted.
This is a perfect way to welcome autumn, in a stunningly beautiful barn with great music and scenic views from a mountaintop property. All proceeds from the event will benefit the work of the Haynes House of Hope, a comfort care home for the terminally ill in Granville.
The Barn at Hogan’s Hill is located at 2077 Route 22A in Hampton, N.Y. Tickets are $35 per person, $25 for seniors and students, and free for under 6, and are available at Scotties in Granville, at hoedownforhope.eventbrite.com, or by calling Haynes House at 518-642-8155 and leaving a message with name, phone number and number of tickets requested.
