Hoosick Falls Fall Festival Celebrates 13th Year

HFCS PTA is proud to announce its featured raffle items for the thirteenth annual Fall Festival being held on Saturday, October 26,  from 9 to 3, at Hoosick Falls Central School.

Each year, the featured raffle items are always an event in themselves, and 2013 will be no exception—and the public can get a sneak peek at them prior to the Festival up until October 25 at the Hoosick Federal Credit Union. The fabulous prizes are a Will Moses print entitled ‘Four O’clock Train;’  a custom framed by Peg Caron;  a Mommy & Me package with a hand embroidered baby quilt, a hand-knitted baby sweater and cap, and a gift certificate donated by Maggie’s Beauty Shop;  a Family Night Out package including 10 passes to Bennington Cinema and certificates to Bianca’s, Picasso’s, and Bar-B-Que Recreation, plus the game Monopoly. Take a chance to win any or all of the prizes – and enter as many times as you’d like! Tickets are $1 each, or $5 for six, and are available for purchase prior to the festival from various PTA members and the Hoosick Federal Credit Union, until October 25. This fun-filled event features crafters and vendors, games and activities for the kids, a cake walk, a bake sale, food and beverages, several raffles for adults and kids, entertainment, and much more.

New this year will be a trick or treat area for kids, from 11 to 2. The HFCH Jazz Band will also perform at 11 and 1. All proceeds from Fall Festival help the PTA host family-oriented events, volunteer time in support of classroom activities, offer funding for countless programs and events, and much more.

There are just a few vendor spaces remaining for this heavily attended event and can be reserved by contacting Molly Holbritter at 518-686-4512. For information or to volunteer, call Susan Senecal at 518-378-6056.
