Jammin’ Divas at the Clark
Contemporary folk group The Jammin’ Divas will perform a free concert at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute on Tuesday, July 30, at 6.. This will be the final performance of the Clark’s 2013 Summer Concert Series. Concertgoers can bring a picnic or purchase barbecued fare. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the auditorium.
The Jammin’ Divas perform a polished blend of contemporary and classic folk music characterized by tight four-part harmonies and traditional instruments. The Divas hail from four different countries—Ireland, Australia, Israel, and the United States—and it is the combination of these distinct musical traditions that lend the Divas their sound. Each of the Divas is a veteran performer in her own right
The Clark is located at 225 South Street in Williamstown, Mass. For more information, visit clarkart.edu or call 413 458 2303.
