Troubadour Jesse Lenat comes to the stage at Dorset’s Marble House.

Jesse Lenat is a singer, songwriter and actor, will perform on Tuesday, September 8, at 6 p.m., at the Marble House Project, located at 1161 Dorset West Road in Dorset. A resident of Brooklyn, N.Y., he has been making music with his brother David Lenat since he was eight years old.  Jesse’s  original music is reminiscent of classic American troubadours like Woody Guthrie. His song, ‘99 Percent’ was included in ‘Occupy This Album,’ along with the songs of Willie Nelson and  other Farm Aid Alumni, which recently won the independent Music Award for Best Compilation.

Marble House Project offers an innovative atmosphere and exchange of ideas in its artist residencies and promotes sustainable agriculture. We focus on the conservation of natural resources, small-scale organic food production and the arts. Residents cultivate the grounds while working on their artistic visions, fostering the belief that the act of creating through art and nature is where human potential begins and community thrives.
