‘Keeping Vermont Spooky’
Most folks think of Vermont as a quaint state with a small-town culture, but it is full of haunted mansions and spirits – some terrifying – that roam the countryside. On Saturday, October 25, at 2 p.m., Kevin Johnston, adjunct professor of Humanities and Business, Southern Vermont College, will speak on ‘Keeping Vermont Spooky’ in the Crispe Room at the Vermont Veterans’ Home (VVH). This program is free and the public is welcome. This is the second VALOR program presented by VVH, which brings college quality learning experiences to Veterans and their family members. These once-a-month, hour-long lectures are presented by visiting professors from area colleges and other experts in their respective fields.
