Landgrove Meeting House
The Landgrove Meeting House will welcome back Pastor Melissa O’Brien on Sunday, July 7, who embodies the definition of a multi-faceted Vermonter who survives by doing many things well – but it is family and spiritual life that are her everyday commitments. She is pastor of the Pawlet Community Church and a hospice volunteer for Head to Heart International, which sends medical teams to areas struck by natural disasters. She explains, “We come to worship, pray, sing, question, celebrate, mourn and strengthen bonds of community. My faith is a point of contact between me, this world and all that we are tested with doing here – and some other unseen ones. That we are called to co-create with God in our time here and our deepest longings for beauty, truth and meaning will lead us in that direction.” As always, music will uplift the service, which will be followed by refreshments, fellowship and discussion. All are invited; contact Martha Dale at [email protected] or
802-824-6564 for details.
