‘Light the Night’ Jam Results

Several hundred spectators gathered to see over 50 impressive  skiers and riders compete in Okemo Mountain Resort’s ‘Light the Night’ Rail Jam on Saturday, March 8. Several challenging features were constructed specifically for the event. A $5,000 purse was distributed among the winners. Miss Vermont Teen USA Madison Cota, an Okemo skier and snowboarder from Bellows Falls, presented the winners with their prizes. Tim Major of Pittsfield, took first place in the Men’s Snowboard Division. Eric Verillo of Weston won second place; third place was Joey Leon of West Simsbury, Conn.  First place in the Women’s Snowboard Division went to Maggie Leon of West Simsbury, Conn. Kaella Ryan of Ripton took second place; third went to Jamie Trayer of Mendon, Vt. Top skier in the Men’s Division was Tyler Duncan of Fryeburg, Maine. Connor Clayton of West Simsbury, Conn. in second, and Jake Duncan, of West Simsbury, Conn., in third. Top Women Skiers were Miranda Holson of Gunnison, Colo., in first; Ali Perotti, of Fryeburg, Maine, in second, and Megan Ellmaker, of Erwinna, Pa. in third place.
